It's 2015! Time For a Change!

It's 2015. Make this year worth it!

  • First step. Stop telling yourself you don't look good in anything. I highly doubt that. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Look through magazines and stores to get inspired. If you're going out at night I usually throw on my leather jacket, it honestly goes with everything. Anyone who has one I'm sure you would agree. And ladies, we all know whats its like to own a pair of black leggings...well, possibly MORE than one... Instead, why don't you switch it up and get a printed black legging...still comfy, but still really cute. (personally my favorite place to shop is at forever 21, you can find so much and easily put an outfit together)

  • Second step. When you read this post, I hope my attempt to motivate you girls to go out works. Why? because if you're reading this right now you are most likely laying down on your dorm bed, shoving your faces with hot Cheetos and Ben & Jerry's...probably telling yourself you'll hit the gym, which we all know we procrastinate that, ha ha. Also, if your as addicted as I am, you're probably going from Twitter, to Instagram, to FaceBook over...and over... and over. WELL LETS GET YA MOTIVATED!

  • Third step. I have a secret. Do not ever take me to a mall, you know why? I go straight to Macy's and I get my makeup done for free. It's like an obsession. First of all, we all know how suck ass it feels to take off makeup every night, but at least you can say someone else put it on you. I know my little secret is stupid, and I love the ladies who make my ogre face attractive every once in awhile...but I'm telling you there is nothing to fear. If you are really too lazy to do it yourself, remember you can also ask a friend or visit a Macy's close by...LOL Also, if you hardly ever wear makeup and would prefer natural that is totally fine. But we all know that even putting on a little bit of blush and lipstick can totally make you feel amazing.

  • Fourth step. Okay...you've hopefully figured out your makeup and clothing situation, now where are you going? Well, where are you at? Look up good restaurants nearby, or in the city. However, if you're in Pittsburgh, there is soooo much to offer.  So, I decided I'll make a list of my favorite restaurants for you to check out. I suggest going to a place you never went too... nothing is more exciting than trying new food.
  1. Buca Di Beppo- amazing Italian restaurant and a little pricey but, it is right in the heart of station square and is really, truly worth it.
  2. The Melting Pot- I went to this restaurant for my birthday with my lovely man. He treated me to this wonderful 5 course meal that started with cheese fondue and ended with chocolate covered everything....
  3. Joe's Crab Shack & Red Lobster- my two favorite seafood restaurants. I am sure you have been to one or the other. Red Lobster has buttered biscuits that are to die for, I can never resist.
  4. Burgatory- oh my my... I never had a burger so good in my life. It was huge, I created it and I LOVED it. You can't go unless you get a milkshake either.
  5. The Milkshake Factory- located in the south side; tons of yummy flavors. My favorite is oreo.
  6. Jerome Bettis Grille- located on north shore drive. Perfect place to get appetizers. If it's nice out, i recommend going for a bike ride or hike and stopping here for some apps!
  7. The Village Inn- located in Verona PA. WOW! Italian food doesn't get much better than this little restaurant. I love it here and my favorite is the Chicken Alfredo.
  8. Yokoso, Yamato & Nakama- all hibachi restaurants that are located in different places. AND VERY GOOD! ugh, just seeing someone cook food in front me, makes me drool. I also love sushi, and if you make it to one of these restaurants, try the tiger roll.
  9. Bravo!- Okay, come on everyone who goes here knows the Chicken Alfredo is sinful. *insert my heart*
  10. Hard Rock Cafe- looking for a fruity drink? delicious burgers? go here.
-Okay, so those are just some of my favorite places & very well known. My favorite types of food are Thai, Italian, Japanese, Greek and Mexican. However, I will try anything! If you just google one of these, you can always find tons of places throughout the city and try the food!

  • Fifth step. alright... we all know calling off work is not that easy. We can all dream though. Make sure you're not working, or get someone to cover your shift for a friday night because you need to do something for you. Also, make sure you have some money, you'll need it... hahah It's rough being a college student, half of the time our schuedles are way too packed to even have time to work. Once you got that figured out, start making plans. Call up your boyfriend, a guy you're interested in, or a fun girlfriend. Make sure the person or persons coming with you aren't party poopers. There is nothing I despise more than someone who can't have some fun and just laugh. Having an excuse to go out and get dressed nicely is the best! Just think, you can snapchat funny moments, tweet your insiders and maybe even check FaceBook... but at least you won't feel like a lazy couch potato.

  • Lastly, go out and tell me how it went. Literally make a FaceBook status, post a selfie (I wanna see what outfit you chose!) and let us know where you went, if you tried something new, how your night went and who you spent it with!!! Whether your a mom balancing work and kids, a college student struggling with grades or guys, or a high school teen looking for something fun to do, going out with the people you love can always relieve some of that stress. This goes for guys too. Is work, school and life stressin you out? Go out and have a good time!!!! All it takes is some motivation people.
You're not going to be young forever, but I have learned that when you start to do things out of your norm to have fun, you'll always be a child at heart. I tried camping, traveling and other exciting things this year and I can tell you that I truly loved all my experiences. I did something different and now I know I'll do those things for the rest of my life. You'll never know what your passionate about if you don't explore!!!!!

Have Fun!
Yours,
Babbling Brunette
